Stoneware Pasta Bowl - Speckled Olive Celadon
These are the most versatile bowls I make. Due to their wide rim and comfortable depth they’re suitable for anything from salads to stews and of course pasta.
This speckled olive celadon glaze gets its colour from red iron oxide paired with a specific firing process and clay body. The dark speckling comes from iron in the dark stoneware clay that has bled through the glaze due to the reduction fired atmosphere.

Each pot is individually hand thrown and trimmed on the potter’s wheel so no two pieces are the same
Each glaze is the result of a very specific combination of raw materials, clay body and firing schedule
Reduction fired for 12 hours up to 1280°C
